Raja Benchekroun is a Fulbright alumna and an Arab Literature, Language, and Culture Instructor at the Judy Genshaft Honors College, University of South Florida. Raja serves as a consultant in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Language Learning, Culture, & Instructional Technology. Founder of Arabic Khatawaat (Steps) Arabic Language & Culture Programs, including Morocco Study Abroad immersion language & cultural program. Raja worked in foreign Language education for 19 years teaching ESL and AFL in Morocco and the US including Virtual (NSLI-Y) with the American Councils on International Education. She holds an MA in Communication and Cultural Studies, and 2nd MA in Liberal Arts Interdisciplinary Track with a focus on Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language and Cultural competency.
