Saturday, April 15, 2:10pm–3:00pm
Panelists share why self-care is vital for teachers and demonstrate effective techniques and practices. This session is a safe space where participants can openly discuss the stress and burnout associated with teaching. By the end of the session, teachers will feel re-energized by new ideas and walk away with tools to help them achieve balance in their lives and careers. Teachers will also receive self-care goody bags with self-care products and resources, provided by the Center for Urban Language Teaching and Research.
