The Atlanta Global Studies Center (AGSC), a joint project of Georgia State University and the Georgia Institute of Technology, will present the fourth Atlanta Global Studies Symposium April 13-15.

The free event — ATL is Global — will feature sessions focused on global education, language learning, sustainable development, community engagement and a daylong workshop for pre-K-12 teachers. In-person sessions will be held at the Georgia State College of Law, with some hybrid sessions offered.

Since its creation in 2018, the Atlanta Global Studies Center has worked to leverage Atlanta’s growing global connections and resources to achieve its mission of building international awareness, global competence and language capacity in the region and beyond.

The ATL is Global event welcomes partners, faculty, students, community organizers and the public to connect, discover the impact of collaboration and celebrate the diversity and global vitality of the region.

The symposium’s sponsors include the Emory University Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Global Atlanta.
