Atlanta Global Studies Center participates in Data Science for Health and Equity Research

Daniel Takabi in the Department of Computer Science, Angela Snyder in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, and Elliot Albers in the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience will be working together with their teams on the research that will culminate in large-scale impacts for the university and beyond in Data Science for Health and Equity.

As data science continues to evolve across a multitude of fields, this group of researchers is at the forefront of computer science and data technology. The multidisciplinary team will push this technology forward to find solutions in public health and neuroscience while laying the groundwork for equity and security in the rapidly emerging field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Participants include departments and centers, including INSPIRE, TReNDSthe Atlanta Global Studies CenterInstitute for Insight and the Neuroscience Institute.
